Job Description:
Bidsquare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to primarily lead our B2B marketing efforts for Bidsquare Cloud. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B marketing within the software industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing principles and the ability to apply them to plan and execute effective marketing strategies targeting auction houses. The role will focus on B2B, but will have oversight and influence on the B2C-focused Bidsquare.com, helping all products under Bidsquare holistically drive revenue for the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive B2B marketing strategies for Bidsquare Cloud.
- Drive lead generation and customer acquisition through targeted marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the creation and execution of content marketing, email campaigns, social media strategies, and other digital marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure consistent messaging.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
- Managethe marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a small marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably at a software company.
- Incredibly data-driven, with strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency in using data analytics and marketing metrics to drive decision-making and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Proven experience and deep understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and other performance testing methods to improve conversion rates.
- Ability to develop compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Player/coach attitude with the ability to be a strategic lead paired with skills to execute marketing efforts.
- Strong leadership skills to mentor and develop a small marketing team.
- Interest in fine art or collectibles is a major plus.
